Katy Challenger Baseball

About Katy Challenger Baseball

Challenger Baseball is for kids from kindergarten through high school with special needs.  We have two divisions - Junior level and Senior level depending on abilities.  No previous baseball experience is required.

We have players from all over the greater Houston area including Katy, Spring, Klein, CyFair, Houston, Spring Branch, Sugar Land and Rosenberg.  The Challenger program is recognized as part of the national Little League organization.

The KALL Challenger program was created several years ago to provide an avenue for special needs kids to play organized baseball.  The main requirement to play is that the child must be ARDed by the school district which indicates a special need.  The special needs of these kids vary across a vast spectrum.

The Spring schedule usually starts in March and lasts through mid-May ending with an awards celebration.  The Spring season is usually 7 or 8 games.  Our Fall season starts in September and is usually for 5 games.  The player registration in January is for the entire year.
